The Journey longer than the Road

Image
I grew up in one of the most remote villages of Bhutan, where mountains stood tall, and paths were narrow and unforgiving. Every morning before sunrise, I began my journey to school, walking nearly three hours through forests, rivers, and steep hills. The road was long, my feet often sore, but my dreams were longer than the distance I walked. My parents worked hard, yet they could not afford everything the school demanded. New uniforms, books, and proper shoes were beyond our reach. I wore a torn pair of slippers for almost a year. The soles were thin, and stones pierced through with every step, but I learned to walk with courage instead of complaint. Sometimes I felt embarrassed, especially when I saw others with new shoes, yet I reminded myself why I was walking to learn, to grow, and to change my future. There were days when rain soaked my clothes, and dust covered my face, but hope never left my heart. My parents’ sacrifices became my strength. Each painful step shaped my resilienc...

My Role Model

Image
My Role Model My role model is my mother. She is not just a person in my life; she is my whole world. No one in this world can ever surrogate her place, because her love, sacrifices, and strength are irreplaceable. Everything I am today is because of her endless care and silent struggles. She has been my first teacher, my strongest supporter, and my safest shelter in every stage of my life. My mother has taught me the true meaning of love, patience, and resilience through her actions rather than words. Even in difficult times, she never gives up and always puts her family before herself. Her kindness, humility, and hardworking nature inspire me every day to become a better person. Whenever I feel weak or lost, her presence gives me courage and hope. I cannot imagine my life without her. Without my mother, I would not be able to see this world with grace and meaning. She gives color to my life and strength to my soul. For me, my mother is not only my role mode...

Best Moment of my Life

Image
My Best Moment of Life I am Tashi Wangmo from Bhutan, rooted in a land of quiet grace. Yet my truest world begins at home, where love has a familiar face. Within those walls, time slows its pace, and worries learn to rest. The smallest moments turn to gold inside my parents’ nest. Their voices soften every fear, Their smiles light my way. Even silence speaks of love in the calm of each day. My mother’s care, my father’s strength, woven deep in my heart. They are the reason I believe no distance can pull us apart. Home is not just roof or room, nor doors that open wide. It is the warmth of being known, a place where tears can hide. And when the world feels cold and vast, I return to what is true— my best moment forever lives with my parents, home, and you.
